Tex Year Group participated in the 7th Conference of Asia Regional Adhesive Council, held from October 28 to 30, 2024, at the Marriott Hotel in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
On October 28, 2024, at the ARAC EXCO Meeting, it was officially confirmed that the Taiwan Synthetic Resins and Adhesives Industrial Association (TSRAIA) will succeed CATIA as the new rotating Chair of the Asia Regional Adhesive Council (ARAC). In this role, TSRAIA Chairman Mr. Tsung-Yu Huang nominated Mr. Donald Hsiao, TSRAIA Executive Director, International PR Convener, and Chairman and CEO of Tex Year Industrial Co., Ltd., to assume the position of ARAC Chair. Following approval by the Council, Mr. Donald Hsiao delivered a keynote address at the event, marking this leadership transition as a new chapter for TSRAIA on the international stage and a significant step forward for Taiwan’s adhesive industry development.
Mr. Donald Hsiao also expressed deep gratitude to the outgoing ARAC Chairman, Mr. Xu Yang Secretary-General of CATIA, recognizing his valuable contributions over recent years. Mr. Yang’s critical role in fostering communication and coordination among member associations laid a strong foundation for ARAC’s ongoing growth and unity.
At this conference, John Yeh, the Chief Technology Officer of TEX YEAR Group, served as one of the session moderators.
On October 29, at Session A-1, Larry Wu, HMA R&D Manager of Tex Year Group, delivered a technical presentation titled "Development of Bio-based and Compostable Hot Melt Adhesives." The presentation focused on green adhesive technologies, showcasing Tex Year's latest achievements in bio-based and compostable hot melt adhesives, and highlighted the company's innovation and ongoing commitment to green bonding solutions.
Additionally, the Tex Year team exhibited the full range of BIONIS products at their booth, attracting significant attention from attendees. As the first hot melt adhesive manufacturer in Asia to obtain DIN CERTCO certification, Tex Year’s BIONIS products have been widely applied across various industries, helping manufacturers achieve a 15% to 75% reduction in carbon emissions and contributing to environmental sustainability efforts.
