On March 29, 2022, TEX YEAR Group and MINIMA TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as MINIMA) signed a cooperation agreement, forming an alliance as a partnership to establish a joint venture company in Europe. Minima is responsible for turn-key transfer and offers integrated technology, manufacturing process, and related patents and certifications. TEX YEAR is responsible for new factory construction, manufacturing, and marketing. The two parties cooperate to develop various types of biodegradable consumer products such as straws, tableware, bottles, cans, packaging bags, etc. in the European region so as to replace the traditional non-compostable petrochemical plastic products. We are committed to ourselves contributing to the environmental protection and the green plastic industry. It also adds a series of sustainable products to our GPS (GREEN PLATFORM STRATEGY) that conform to Green, Bio, Circular, and Low Carbon features.



MINIMA is one of the first certified manufacturers of biodegradable (compostable) products in Asia (including Japan, Taiwan, and Korea). The founder of MINIMA, Dr. Huang, is the founding chairman of the Taiwan Biodegradable Materials Association, the director of the American BPI Biodegradable Materials Association, and the chairman of the Pan Pacific Biodegradable Plastic Association. He has always been in a leading position in academia and industry. At the same time, he also assists many companies to develop and manufacture practical daily necessities that comply with the environmental protection laws of various countries. MINIMA has the most authoritative biodegradable material manufacturing technology and knowledge and has become a vertically integrated biodegradable product manufacturer including a biodegradable raw material compound factory, biodegradable blown film and bag manufacturing factory, biodegradable injection molding factory, biodegradable laminating processing and paper cup factory, biodegradable straw factory, etc. MINIMA’s degradable and compostable products have been tested and certified by European Union (OK Compost, Din Certco) and by the United States (BPI).

TEX YEAR Group is one of Taiwan’s first adhesive manufacturers that establish a production base in Europe. It has also set up an R&D center in Europe to provide customers with the most professional and complete services. The European Green Deal promulgated by the European Commission at the end of 2019, aiming to transform the European Union into a global leader in climate-friendly industries and clean technologies, triggered a strong and urgent need for the replacement of traditional plastic products. The strategic cooperation between TEX YEAR and MINIMA is to introduce cross-domain and transnational cooperation based on GPS platform, and combine the advantages of both parties to jointly develop, produce and sell biodegradable materials and products.
