Human Rights Policy

Tex Year is dedicated to protecting its employees' rights and interests, and it strictly complies with labor-related laws and regulations in all countries where we operate. The Company follows the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the International Labor Organization's Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. To protect human rights, we adhere to the following principles:

  • 1.
    Diversity, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunities
    • Tex Year maintains a work environment with gender equality and diversity; upholds the open and fair principle in recruitment. Besides candidate’s overall performance, preference should be given to disabled, indigenous or local candidates.
    • Ensuring fairness and equality in employee recruitment, compensation, benefit, training, promotion, personnel termination or retirement. The recruitment, hiring and wages of employees will not be based on or affected by their race, class, language, thought, religion, political party, place of birth, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, appearance, physical or mental disability, horoscope or blood type. Establishing an efficient and appropriate grievance mechanism to prevent and address any issues that could harm the employees' rights and interests.

    Respecting Employees' Freedom of Association
    • For the protection of children, it is not allowed to employ a worker below the country minimum legal age. Tex Year abides by local laws and regulations governing working hours and job description of employment and ensures no child labor.
    • Full compliance with all applicable labor-related laws and regulations. There shall be no forced labor and other related coercion, including but not limited to: corporal punishment, mental of physical coercion, verbal abuse, lodge deposit of money and/ or identify cards, passports, or other illegal coercion to work.
  • 3.
    Reasonable Working Time
    • Tex Year establishes a legal and reasonable working time management plan and periodically review and manage employee attendances. Consistent with the requirements of related local laws and regulations.
  • 4.
    Compensation and Benefits
    • Tex Year provides employees with pay equivalent to the mandatory minimum wage and employees benefits in accordance with the laws and regulations.
  • 5.
    Healthy and Safe Workplace
    • Tex Year provides employees with a safe and healthy work environment and conducts regular training on occupational safety. Striving to eliminate all hazardous factors that threaten employees' safety and health, and to minimize the occupational injuries risk.
  • 6.

    Internal Communication Channels for Employees

    • Tex Year has established diverse communication channels and platforms to ensure a harmonious labor relation. All complaint cases will be forwarded to the appropriate department and Human Resources Department.
    • For the protection of gender equality and prevention of sexual harassment at work, Tex Year established Sexual Harassment Complaints Mailbox in accordance with Gender Equality Employment Act.
    • The investigation of sexual harassment complaint case is kept behind closed doors, under confidentiality, in order to protect both parties’ private information, such as names and identification.
    • The written investigation results, which shall be sent to both parties. Should a party disagree with the decision, he or she can file an application for reconsideration.
  • 7.
    Collective Bargaining
    • Tex Year holds labor-management meetings regularly. When operation or organization changes may cause significant impact on labor rights, we will ensure effective communication between employer and employees.
  • 8.
    Implementation of Information Security
    • To protect human rights and privacy, Tex Year has established complete mechanisms to control information security and followed strict data protection regulations.
  • 9.
    Comprehensive Employee Training
    • Tex Year conducts regular training on Human Rights and the related procedures.
